Sambhram Institute of Technology is located in East Bangalore which was established in the year 2001.Sambhram Istitute of Technology is an offshoot of the Sambhram Group, widely known for its services in education, health, housing, propertyt development, hotels and resorts. It is approved by AICTE and accredited by the NBA. The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. The campus is spread over 10 acres. The institute provides 1 UG course and 3 PG courses in Engineering, Business Management and is ranked among the top Engineering Institutions in Bangalore. Current students that are taken annually for UG and PG programs are around 1200 in number. Entrance exams like GATE, PGCET are accepted at the institute. It ranked 47th in top private engineering colleges all over India and 5th in Karnataka.
The admission process will be based on applicant's academic record, state level entrance exam with valid score card, Performance in group discussion and personal interview. A bachelor's degree in any discipline as recognized by UGC, under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system with minimum 50% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year may also apply.
SIT arranges a few scholarships for the students. These are institutional and government-organized scholarships.
First-year tuition fees of the students will be given a concession if they fulfill the following criterion:
