PUMBA does not have its separate hostel. The Pune University hostels have few seats reserved for PUMBA students. The hostel is available for 20 male and 20 female students of PUMBA every year.

Class of 2004 was an important milestone when PUMBA became a fully autonomous institute albeit under the University Of Pune. As per Maharashtra Govt. extraordinary gazette notification MAH MBA/MMS CET or CAT or CMAT will only be considered valid for admission to MMS/MBA program.
PUMBA offers scholarships to reserved category students including SC/ST/OBC candidates. Scholarships at PUMBA are also offered based on the domicile. Furthermore, PUMBA also provides with the loan facility to the eligible and deserving candidates as well.

PUMBA has a zero-tolerance towards any act of ragging. As per the Supreme Court of India order, anyone indulging in ragging will be punished appropriately. Institute has a 'Zero tolerance policy' in this respect.
The Anti - Ragging Committee whose role is to monitor the measures taken by the Institute for prevention of ragging and for looking into the specific instances of ragging. The Anti-Ragging Squad shall keep vigil, surveillance, and patrolling functions. It shall be kept on mobile, alert, and active at all times and shall be empowered to inspect places of potential ragging. The Squad shall investigate incidents of ragging and make recommendations to the Anti Ragging Committee.
