Karamshi Jethabhai Somaiya formally known as K J Somaiya was established by Padmabhushan Late Shri K J Somaiya in 1959 in the heart of Mumbai. In 1993 the MBA program approved by AICTE. MAITREYI and SANDIPANI are two separate hostels for girls and boys with facilities like internet, laundry, student mess, activity room, gym, etc. It also owned amphitheatre with well decorated, Tagore amphitheatre hosts many cultural programs other two are TAKSHILA and NALANDA with seating capacity of 250 each which is allotted for ceremonies and guest speaker sessions. For continuous learning it offers computerized library with 91000+ books and many other resources. The institute is also well known for it’s placement. It has the record of 100% placement with the highest package of 28.5 lacs with the average placement of 13.5 lacs, it also provide summer internship in reputed companies with highest 1.45 lacs stipend per month.
