The Institute has a 10-block hostel complex that offers fully-furnished individual rooms for both male and female students, complete with internet connectivity. Additionally, each hostel block has a common reading room on every floor. For its flagship PGDM (RM) program, IRMA Anand charges a total fee of 16.75 Lakhs, which covers hostel accommodations.
The Institute of Rural Management Anand, commonly known as IRMA or IRMA Anand, was established in 1979 in Anand, Gujarat, India. Founded by Dr. Verghese Kurien(Known as the ‘Milkman of India’), IRMA received initial support from various organizations including the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), and the Government of India, among others. It is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and its programs are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institute has earned accreditation from the NAAC Foundation with a Grade ‘A’.
IRMA offers postgraduate and doctoral-level academic programs in management, including PGDM Rural Management (PGDM -RM), PGDM Rural Management Executive (PGDM-RMX), and a Fellow Programme in Management (Rural Management).
Facilities at IRMA include a library, labs, seminar halls, an auditorium, and sports amenities.
IRMA recently concluded its placements for the 42nd batch (2021-23) of its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management). The participating recruiters offered 244 placement offers to the batch of 249 participants, with the highest and average package standing at INR 24.42 LPA and INR 15.50 LPA respectively in 2023. Recruiters included prominent names such as Flipkart, Dabur, Adani Group, Godrej, and ITC.

For PGDM admissions at IRMA(Anand), candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of a minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) by any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or from a foreign University recognised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a valid score in CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT + WAT and PI.
