IIM Indore participates in National scholarship for higher education for ST students offered by the Government of India.
IIM Indore provides Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA) to the PGP /Integrated programme in Management (IPM) students whose family income do not cross Rs. 9,00,000/- during the relevant financial year. The students of SC and ST are also provided scholarship for higher education and the scholarship is provided by the institute along with the Government of India
IRIS began in 2001 and grew slowly but steadily, adding new events each year. In 2008 it was split into two separate events- Mridang, the Cultural Fest and Ahvan, the Management Fest. This set-up continued until 2013 when IRIS was reborn, one entity as a merger of the two. Ragging is totally baned and punishable with severe action in this institute. Any student, indulging in such criminal activity is dealt with extreme punishment of suspension from the hostel as well as the college as the Supreme Court's Act. An anti ragiing committee is constructed with both faculty members and teacher to look upon this activity in the campus in order to obliterate this crime.
Besides, the student can also be put behind the bars or be charged with heavy penalty if caught red handed.
So the campus is totally secured for each and every student.
