The Goa Institute of Management (GIM), established in 1993, is an independent institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Accredited by SAQS and a member of the AACSB network, GIM offers postgraduate and doctoral programs. Its PGDM and PGDM Healthcare Management programs are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
Spanning 50 acres, GIM Goa provides various facilities including hostels, a library, laboratories, etc.
According to recent media reports, the average package for the top 10% of PGDM (BIFS) batch 2024 students at GIM stood at INR 19.90 LPA. According to the Honorable Supreme Court Judgment, Government, University, AICTE, and UGC, Ragging is strictly prohibited inside the Goa Institute of Management (GIM- Goa) campus. Any individual engaging in raging will face severe consequences, including suspension or dismissal from the institute, along with potential criminal charges. The Anti-Ragging Committee is authorized to take stringent measures against students involved in ragging, and such actions may lead to the cancellation of admission or the filing of an FIR with local/police authorities against the responsible students.
GIM is situated in Poriem, Sattari, Goa. The nearest airport is Goa International Airport, located 45 km away. The closest railway station is Poriem Railway Station, just 3.9 km from the institute. Sankhali KTC Bus Station, 2.5 km away, serves as the nearest bus station to the institute.
