GIBS has a separate hostel section under the management of the Hostel Management Committee. The girl’s hostel is situated inside the campus. The boy’s hostel is located at a walkable distance from the college. Hostel accommodation allotment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and students are expected to follow the hostel rules strictly. The Hostel Management Committee is headed by its Chairperson. The Chief Warden, GIBS, who is the secretary of the Committee administers the day-to-day aspects of the hostel management. The hostel has a Warden from the teaching faculty of the college who is responsible for the discipline, maintenance of the building, allotment of rooms etc. The Hostel fee is Rs. 1,20,000 per annum.

To obtain admission for the two-year full-time PGDM program, aspirants need to complete a bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 or 4) with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from Universities/Institutions recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU. The admission process also requires good scores in Entrance Exams like CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT/ATMA/ State level entrance exams/ NMAT by GMAC. Candidates with work experience and/or additional educational qualifications and interested in PGDM admission in GIBS Bangalore will receive extra weightage.

Ragging is strictly prohibited on the premises of the college and hostels. The Supreme Court of India banned ragging. Any GIBS student accused and proven guilty of engaging in ragging will face strict consequences by the law. GIBS College maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all students. Wilful non-reporting of awareness of ragging incidents is also punishable. The anti-Ragging Cell of GIBS Bangalore consists of the Dean, Assistant Dean, and other members.
