Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSoM) offers hostel accommodation for both male and female students. Postgraduate students will be accommodated in the halls of residence, ensuring a comfortable living environment. Vinod Gupta School of Management (VGSoM) situated within IIT Kharagpur, was established in 1993. Accredited by AACSB and recognized by AICTE.It offers five management programs, including PG, diploma, and PhD courses.
Additionally, it collaborates with departments like Mathematics and Humanities & Social Sciences for dual-degree programs like Financial Engineering, and with institutions like Indian Statistical Institute Kolkata and Indian Institute of Management Calcutta for PG Diploma in Business Analytics. The MBA fees at VGSOM are INR 12.85 lakhs for 2 years.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA and EMBA programs must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field with a minimum of 60% marks. Alternatively, candidates with a Master’s Degree in Science, Economics, or Commerce (with Mathematics or Statistics at the Bachelor’s level) and a minimum of 60% marks are also eligible. For EMBA admission, a minimum of 3 years of work experience is required.
As for admission to the PGDBA program, candidates must hold a Graduate/Post-Graduate degree in a 10+2+4/10+2+5/10+2+3+2 format with a minimum of 60% marks in B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./M.Com or equivalent. Selection for the PGDBA program is based on the PGDBA Entrance Exam scores, followed by consideration of academic scores, work experience, and a personal interview for the final selection process.
The final selection for the admission process will be based on the cumulative score of application rating (AR), CAT exam scores and overall performance in the personal interview.

Any individual engaging in raging will face severe consequences, including suspension or dismissal from the institute, along with potential criminal charges. The Anti-Ragging Committee is authorized to take stringent measures against students involved in ragging, and such actions may lead to the cancellation of admission or the filing of an FIR with local/police authorities against the responsible students.
VGSOM is located at IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur, West Bengal, 721302, India. The nearest airport is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU) which is 147 km away from the Institute. The College campus is located 5 km away from the nearest bus stand (Kharagpur railway station).
