Ajay Kumar Singal is Associate Professor of Strategy, Innovation & Leadership. He is a fellow (Doctorate) in Strategic Management from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has over 7 years’ experience in research and teaching. Prior to that he has worked for 16 years across industry verticals – Petrochemicals, Logistics, Steel and eCommerce including about 2.5 years in USA.

He has published in top tier journals such as Journal of Business Strategy, Strategic Change, and presented at reputed peer-reviewed academy conferences. He has advised three startups— CompexMaster, K-EduServices & Unfurl Technology—in the education technology domains

Dr K.S.Sujit is an Associate Professor in the area of Economics. He is a PhD in Economics from Hyderabad University, India. He has 18 years of experience in Academics and served various institutions located in India, Ethiopia and Dubai. He has more than 20+ research papers in different areas. Currently his research interests are in industry analysis, macroeconomics and valuation.

Dr. Vijetha Koppa is an Assistant Professor of Economics. She obtained her Bachelors in Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and her Ph.D. in Economics from Texas A&M University, USA. Dr. Koppa is an Applied Microeconomist who studies topics in Labour, Health, and Economics of crime. Her current research is on the effects of Section 8 housing vouchers and interventions that aim to reduce domestic violence in the USA. She has a publication in the American Journal of Health Economics, has served as a referee for international peer-reviewed journals and has presented at several international conferences in the United States.

Dr. K. Abdul Waheed is Professor in the area of Marketing. He holds a Ph.D in Marketing from School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He has around 20 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration. He has published more than 30 refereed articles in various reputed journals. Prior to joining IMT Dubai, he was a faculty member at BITS Pilani and National Institute of Textile Management, India.

Dr. Ahmad is an Assistant Professor in the area of Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Deviance behavior, Consumer Behavior. He has Ph.D. and Master in HRM, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He has more than 6 years of international teaching experience in Human Resource Management & Marketing field. He held Marketing manager post for at the School of Business Management (UUM). He held the position for Assistant Project Manager for the World Association of Islamic Business School (WAiBS). He has published more than 17 papers in various reputed journals.

Lijo John has completed his doctoral studies at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Prior to joining Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, he did his undergraduate studies in Production Engineering from the University of Kerala, India and graduate studies in Industrial Engineering and Management from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, India. He is the recipient of the Shastri Research Student Fellowship (SRSF) and was Visiting Research Scholar at Sauder School of Research. He is also the recipient of 30th Wings of Excellence award by University of St. Gallen. His research areas include humanitarian logistics, supply chain management and risk management. He has published papers in refereed international journals as well as in national and international conferences.

Dr. Bidisha Banerjee, is a Lecturer of Human Resource Management & Organizational Behaviour at IMT Dubai. She has completed her PhD from Santiago de Compostela, University, Spain. She holds PGDHR (Human Resource Management) from Amity University Noida, India and MBA (Marketing) from Ishan Institute of Management and Technology, Noida, India. She is a recipient of European Union Scholarship (Erasmus Mundus Mobility Asia) in the year 2009 for her Doctorate Programme. Since 2001 she was working with a various Multinational companies in India and abroad like L.G Electronics (India), Cemex Top mix (Dubai). She has over all 5 years to teaching experience at various B schools in India. Her research interest includes Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource development, and Leadership.

Education for life as a light for the darkness. Everyone likes to be educated but the most important thing is the ability to communicate with students because sometimes it is more important than knowledge of the subject matter. I think that the foundational knowledge is essential for the academic progress of any student so we should go step by step to reach our objectives in the subjects we learned. We should use different competencies and skills to motivate the students to make some projects and assignments to activate the way they view things in the long run. Last but not least, I believe that the instructor should work hard in performing his mission and should be the role model for his students.

Dr. Dogan Serel is Associate Professor of Operations Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University. Previously he was a faculty member at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. After receiving his B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from Bogazici University, he has worked as a project engineer in copper and glass industries. He has conducted research in the areas of inventory management, fast fashion retail operations, services pricing, and statistical process control. His papers have been published in journals including IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of the Operational Research Society, and Computers & Operations Research

Prashant Kumar is Ph.D. from NITIE Mumbai, INDIA. Prior to joining IMT in May’19, he worked with TAPMI Manipal INDIA and IM, Nirma University Ahmedabad INDIA. He teaches courses such as B2B Marketing, Marketing Research, Digital Marketing, Sales and Distribution Management, Environmental Management and Marketing Strategy. He has published works in journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, and the Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics. His research interests focus on key account management, boundary spanning and green consumption. He was awarded Outstanding Reviewer for International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management by Emerald Literacy Awards 2017.

B Rajesh Kumar is a professor of finance at IMT Dubai. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kharagpur. His research interest are in areas of applied corporate finance, valuation and mergers and acquisition. He has published over 45 empirical research papers in refereed international journals. He has written seven books of which three were published by Academic Press Elsevier USA (Strategies of Banks and other Financial Institutions;; Valuation Concepts and theories; Strategic Financial Management Case Book), one each by Palgrave Macmillan UK (Case studies on Megamergers ); McGraw-Hill India (Mergers and Acquisition: Text and Cases) ; ICFAI Books (Strategies of Indian Pharma Industry) & Springer International Wealth Creation in the World’s Largest Mergers &Acquisitions)

Dr. Bajaj is a passionate teacher, researcher, writer and trainer. She was trained for Experiential and Case Method of learning at the Harvard Business School and has extensive international teaching experience. She is also an adjunct faculty at the ie School of Human Sciences and Technology, Madrid, Spain. Dr. Bajaj was bestowed the National Award for Best Case Writer 2010 (India) by the ISB- Richard IVEY Canada and Best Case Researcher Award (2017) by the Aleem Business Congress. She has published several research papers and field based teaching Cases. She is currently pursuing research in areas of Leadership & Sustainable Development, Group Dynamics and Teaching & Learning. She writes for Khaleej Times, UAE and is on the Board of AIMA. She has trained thousands of working executives over the last 13 years. Her clients include Schneider-Electric, Cairn Energy, Eli Lilly, SPI, Acconex, to name a few. A PhD in HR (AMU) and BE (Thapar), she pursues research in areas of Organization Learning & Development, and Communication.
